Dr. Olson received his medical degree at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Patton received his undergraduate and medical degrees at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his internship in general surgery and his orthopaedic residency training at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He is currently board certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow with The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He has been practicing general orthopaedics with Western Kentucky Orthopaedic Associates in Bowling Green, Kentucky since 2000.
Dr. Patton has a strong interest in joint replacement, using computer-assisted total knee replacements, partial knee replacements, total shoulder replacements and anterior approach total hip replacements for the treatment of arthritis.

Dr. Malmquist received his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. He completed his internship and orthopaedic residency training at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii.
After residency and certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he continued his orthopaedic practice at Tripler Army Medical Center and at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He left the United States Army Medical Department at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel joining Western Kentucky Orthopaedic Associates in 2001.
Additional training includes computer assisted total knee replacement surgery and Oxford unicompartmental knee replacement surgery. Areas of interest include total joint replacement, both hip and knee as well as sports medicine and fracture surgery.

Dr. Schwank received his medical degree from San Carlos University in Guatemala City, Guatemala. He completed his residency in general surgery at San Carlos University and his residency in Neurology at the University of Louisville. Dr. Schwank completed his residency in Neurological Surgery at the University of Louisville and a fellowship at the Social Security Institute in Guatemala City in Neurological Surgery, as well as a fellowship at the Hospital for Sick Children, in Toronto, Canada in pediatric neurosurgery. He served as clinical instructor at the University of Louisville in Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Schwank is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and by the Education Committee for Foreign Medical Graduates. He has been practicing general Neurological Surgery in Bowling Green since 1985.

Dr. Royalty received his undergraduate degree from Pikeville College in Pikeville, Kentucky. He received his medical degree from the University Of Kentucky College of Medicine in Lexington, Kentucky. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Andrews Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
